During the Summer of 2001, the Public Service and Outreach office of the
School of Environmental Design conducted research, produced a report,
and gave two public lectures in Ghana. Under the direction of Pratt Cassity,
the office trained the country's newly formed Cape Coast Historic Preservation
Commission. The goal is to develop a long-term relationship between the
University of Georgia and both non-governmental organizations and the
universities in Ghana.

in Australia with the approval of the Dean and subject to certain
exchange conditions.
