1999 Lectures and consultation on the US ICOMOS Project, development of a slide show and brochure, followed by a sustainable tourism development charrette

2000

Writing of a local ordinance, training of the local town and country planning staff and appointed officials, development of Design Guidelines, creation of a permanent exhibit about the preservation and enhancement of Old Cape Coast, development of a study abroad program for West Africa at UGA.

2001 Inauguration of the Ghana Service-Learning Studio as part of the West Africa Study Abroad Program (a mini-charrette was done for a school’s new library in Accra and a four week project on urban design and historic preservation in Cape Coast, planning and graphic design assistance to the Village of Larabanga, and establishing a project to assist residents living in and around a lagoon in Accra.
